SANJOSE will Rehabilitate and Adapt the Santa Lucía Market in A Coruña for New Uses

The A Coruña City Council has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the rehabilitation and consolidation works of the former Santa Lucía Market, previously used as a traditional marketplace, to transform it into a mixed-use space that will include a new market, a Health Center, and a Community Center.

The project involves the selective modification of the façades and roofs of the existing building to adapt its envelope to the newly planned uses. Additionally, a comprehensive interior rehabilitation will be carried out to enhance functionality and spatial conditions in line with the new configuration and intended purposes.
