SANJOSE will carry out the rehabilitation works of the Montecarmelo forest area in Madrid

The Madrid City Council has awarded SANJOSE Constructora, in a joint venture with Ejidillo Viveros Integrales and Ingeniería Obras y Tecnología Europea, the contract for the rehabilitation of the Montecarmelo forest area, located in the Fuencarral-El Pardo district of Madrid, with the aim of transforming this space into an accessible, sustainable green environment of great environmental value.

The project will incorporate 128 new trees and more than 3,400 shrubs to reinforce biodiversity and improve climatic comfort, prioritizing native species with low water consumption and high adaptability to the Madrid climate. In addition, the project includes improvements in accessibility, sustainable drainage, vegetation, and leisure areas adapted for all ages.
