SANJOSE will build the Simulation Hospital and a parking lot for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences on the Bormujos Campus of the CEU Fernando III University in Seville

The Fernando III El Santo CEU University Foundation has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the contract to build a car park and an innovative Simulation Hospital on its Bormujos Campus, a unique facility in Andalusia designed to promote learning, well-being, and sustainability.

The building is raised on pillars to free up the ground floor, creating open and comfortable green areas that invite relaxation and social interaction. In terms of its layout, its two floors will house admission rooms, waiting rooms, triage, emergency rooms, operating rooms, ICUs, delivery rooms, pediatrics, consultation rooms, physiology, biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, and research laboratories, among others.

It should be noted that each room in the Simulation Hospital will also have a debriefing space, a place where it will be possible to observe, either through a glass window or on a screen, what another colleague or the teacher is doing during the practice. This provides the option of commenting in real time on what is being seen, sharing opinions with colleagues, and reflecting on what is being done well or what could be improved.

It should also be noted that this project has been meticulously designed and studied to precisely meet energy efficiency and thermal comfort criteria, making it an example of environmentally friendly architecture.
